Content Management System (CMS)

Welcome to your website's content management system (CMS)!
Getting Started
To access your content management system (CMS) you'll go to [domain.com]/pilot and enter the provided username & password.
"One Page" Design
The bulk of your website content is viewed on one page.
This is a "one page" design website, which means the bulk of your content is hard-coded.
Elements You Can Manage: Modules
- Pages Module
- Safety & Experience page
- Employment page
- Job Application Received* page
- About Us page -- which is the same content at the bottom of your homepage.
- Contact Form Submitted* page
- Projects Module
*These pages are "hidden" (as are these guide pages), which means that they do not show up in your website sitemap and they are not indexed by search engines. The means that folks can only get to these pages if they have a direct link.
Pages Module
Where you manage the content for Safety & Experience as well as About Us.
When you log into the pilot, the first thing that opens up is Pages. Each page has four tabs: Content, Settings Tab, Metadata Tab, Code Tab. Check out the linked pages to learn more.
Projects Module
Where you manage current and new projects.
When you go to the Projects module:
- click the green + New Project button
- Put in a title
- All current projects are titled with the City & State
- Put in the latitude & longitude or City, State, Zip Code
- Save
That new project is added to your map!
Roles
Roles determine a users's permissions.
Administrators
Website administrators have full power to manage your website. They can add, edit, delete all page, projects, users, etc.
Editors
Website editors can add new pages or projects and edit current ones, but they cannot fully delete a project or a page. (They can delete the content of a page or a project.)
